Step 1:Prepare the Tri Tip
Take the Tri Tip out of the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Pat the steak dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Rub olive oil evenly on both sides of the steak, then season with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices.
Step 2:Preheat the Grill or Oven
If using a grill, preheat to medium-high heat (around 200°C/400°F).
